The Porsche Cayenne is the only SUV offering from Porsche, and is available in Cayenne, Cayenne S, Cayenne S Hybrid, and Cayenne Turbo models. Models are mainly distinguished primarily by engine performance, with the base Cayenne carrying a 300 horsepower (hp) engine (with optional 6-speed manual or upgraded Tiptronic transmission) that produces 295 pound-feet (lb.-ft.) of torque, accelerating from 0-100 km/h in 7.5 seconds, and reaching a top speed of 230 km/h. Among the higher end models, the Cayenne S includes a 400 horsepower (hp) engine with a 0-100 km/h acceleration of 5.9 seconds; the Cayenne S Hybrid includes a 333 horsepower (hp) engine with slightly slower acceleration of 6.5 seconds, and the Cayenne turbo carries a 500 horsepower (hp) engine with the fastest acceleration of any SUV of 0-100 km/h in 4.7 seconds. Feature highlights include Porsche’s Traction Management (PTM) — an active all-wheel-drive system with an electronically variable, map-controlled multi-plate clutch, Automatic Brake Differential (ABD) and Anti-Slip Regulation (ASR); a high-resolution 4.8-inch TFT color screen; and advanced alerts such as the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).
