The Borrego is the larger of KIA’s two SUV options, and includes the base 3.8 litre LX-V6, the 3.8 litre EX-V6 Luxury, the 4.6 litre LX-V8, and the EX-V8 Luxury. The 3.8 litre models include V6, 276 horsepower (hp) engines, are controlled by a 5-speed Steptronic automatic transmission, and produce 267 pound-feet (lb.-ft.) of torque. The larger 4.6 litre models are include V8 engines, 337 horsepower (hp), are controlled by 6-speed Steptronic automatic transmissions, and produce 323 pound-feet (lb.-ft.) of torque. Standard safety features include heated mirrors and seats, special brake controls for up and downhill control as well as back-up warning sensors. Feature highlights include audio system within integrated iPod or related AUX inputs, push-button starting, ECO-minder indicator, and dual-zone climate control.
