UPDATE: The Jeep Commander line was discontinued after 2010
The Commander was one of the largest available vehicles in the Jeep lineup and is available in either a Sport or the upgraded Limited edition. The Sport model came standard with a 3.7 litre, 210 horsepower (hp), V6 engine, capable of producing 235 pound-feet (lb.-ft.) of torque. The Limited edition came with a 5.7 litre, 357 horsepower (hp), HEMI V8 engine, capable of producing 389 pound-feet (lb.-ft.) of torque. Both models included Electronic Throttle Control (ETC) for enhanced performance, and Electronic Stability Program (ESP) for stability during extreme steering manoeuvres. Feature highlights included twin moonroofs, dual-zone climate control, and a 68 kg (150 lbs) capacity roof rack.
